Pitch your film to a panel of judges from multiple short film funds. Aside from the top prize worth £2,000 each of judges will be able to offer deals in the form of funding, advice and discounts.

Then the London Film Funding Summit is the event for you! This immersive two-day experience is designed to equip you with the knowledge, connections, and strategies you need to succeed in the film industry.

 

🔹 What to Expect:

Prepare for two days brimming with pitching competitions, insightful talks, engaging discussions, and invaluable networking opportunities. By the time you leave, you'll be armed with a wealth of knowledge about how the industry operates, the various avenues available for funding, and which strategy aligns best with your unique project.

DAY 1 - Friday - (Online):

First round of the pitching competition to be held online. You can buy a ticket to pitch your own short film or watch the pitches and gain valuable insight from the panel's feedback.

DAY 2 - SATURDAY - (In Person):

Multiple speakers will be discussing various ways of funding a feature film. The finalists of the first days' pitching competition will also pitch their films in the second and final round to determine the winner.

APPLYING FOR DEVELOPMENT FUNDING

In this session we'll reveal how OKRE chooses which films to provide development funding. We'll also aim to paint a full picture about what development funding should be used for, what kind of projects have the highest chance of getting picked and how to apply.

In this masterclass a representative from the pitch film fund will run through the ins and outs of creating the perfect pitch for your film including the content and delivery.

In this talk we'll discuss how to successfully develop a cross media business strategy in an effective way to attract investment for your projects.

PITCHING COMPETITION

We will host a pitching competition to assist filmmakers in launching their short films and to help everyone grasp the essential elements required for a successful pitch.

The first round of the pitching competition will take place online on Friday, January 26th. On January 27th, the finalists will have the opportunity to pitch in person to a panel of judges and in front of the live audience at the main event.

All participants in the pitching competition may receive specific offers from the panelists, which could include funding, resources, and discounts. The top prize will consist of equipment worth over £2000 for film hire and platinum passes to Cine Circle events. (Additional prizes may be added closer to the event date.)
