In this talk we'll discuss what private investors and really looking for and why they fund films. We'll discuss what you need to have in place before you reach out to potential investors and what can you expect when you manage to book in a pitch session. This in-depth talk will go into some of the more technical and advanced aspects of finding private investors.

NATIONAL, LOCAL & GRANT FUNDING with GANNESH RAJAH
In this talk we'll discuss the ins and outs of applying fro the BFI film funding along with how to utilise government funding to obtain further investment both through crowdfunding as well as private investors. This talk will zoom in on specific strategies of applying for government funding and zoom out on the overall strategies that will make your entire fundraising a success.

UTILISING PROOF OF CONCEPT SHORTS with JED SHEPHERD
In this talk we'll discuss how to use what you've made to your advantage. We'll discuss how Jed used proof of concept shorts to prove to investors that the feature will be a success. We'll discuss what elements a short needs to have in order to be successful at driving further funding as well as how to use the proof of concept when pitching to potential investors.
