New Horror-Thriller Anthology The Hunted Brings Together Three Deadly Stories of Pursuit, Revenge and Betrayal

Cine Circle is pleased to announce the upcoming release of The Hunted a chilling new thriller anthology bringing together three deadly stories of pursuit, revenge and betrayal.

A runner lost in the wilderness. A serial killer choosing her next victim. A group of bank robbers turning their weapons on one another.

The Hunted is a new horror-thriller anthology bringing together three tense stories in which the line between predator and prey is never as clear as it first appears.

Blending supernatural horror, vigilante revenge and crime-thriller suspense, the anthology explores what happens when ordinary people are trapped, pursued or forced to confront the danger around them. Across three distinct stories, the characters must fight to survive enemies they cannot always understand—and, in some cases, one another.

Three stories. No safe place.

The first film, Danny & Max, follows Danny, a young woman training for a bushland marathon alongside her Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Max. During one of their runs, they encounter a supernatural entity that causes Danny to collide with a tree and suffer a serious concussion.

When she regains consciousness, Danny has lost her memory and no longer knows who she is or where she is. With only Max beside her, she must find a way through the vast forest while the mysterious entity continues to stalk them.

The second story, Hi., centres on Kylie Banks, a serial killer with a dark past who targets men who abuse or mistreat women. Her latest target is Jake Goss, a man whose encounter with Kylie is about to turn his life upside down.

What begins as a seemingly ordinary interaction develops into a dark story of punishment, revenge and shifting power.

The anthology concludes with Loaded Deliberation, an action-packed crime thriller about a group of bank robbers hiding in an abandoned warehouse after successfully completing a job.

The contents of the safe they have stolen are far more valuable than expected. As greed and desperation begin to take hold, trust disappears and the robbers turn against one another. Surrounded by weapons and unable to agree on who deserves the prize, the group enters a deadly standoff in which nobody can be certain who will make it out alive.

When the hunted become the hunters

Although each film tells a separate story, all three are connected by the same central question: who is truly doing the hunting?

Danny appears to be prey as she is pursued through the wilderness, but survival may require her to confront what is following her. Kylie deliberately selects and hunts her victims, while presenting herself as a form of violent justice. In Loaded Deliberation, every member of the robbery crew becomes both a potential attacker and a target.

Together, the films create an anthology about fear, desperation, vengeance and the instinct to survive.
