Cine Circle is a film events company specializing in creating events on courses focusing on teaching filmmakers the business and career side of the industry. We run a variety of events including Film & TV Job Fair and Film Summits on topics such as film funding, film distribution and building a career in the film industry. Our events range from smaller networking events with 50-100 attendees as well as bigger events with 1000+ attendees.

CONTENT CREATOR & marketer

The Opportunity

We have a growing community across our platform, newsletter, meet up groups, facebook groups and social media accounts. We are looking for someone who can take pictures and videos at our London based events and use that content to engage our community.

You will:

  • Manage our social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram TikTok and Twitter

  • Take videos and photos at our London based events

  • Edit videos for social media clips and for our platform Cine Circle PRO

  • Use AI and other tech to create blogs and other content on our website

  • Create image assets for our event banners and social media using canva

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of video editing software - ideally Premiere Pro lO

  • You have a passion for filmmaking and ability to engage with filmmakers on social media

  • Previous experience in photography and videography is a big bonus

SALES & NETWORKING ASSOCIATE

The Opportunity

We are currently looking to expand our team and bring on board a sales and networking associate. For this unique role we are looking for a very outgoing person who will chat to our event attendees, make sure they are all getting value out of the event and tell them about our new events, products and services.

 

You will:

  • Attend our events and network with as many of the actors and filmmakers as you can

  • Make sure our attendees are getting value out of the event and having a good time

  • Collect any feedback about the event and ways we can improve it

  • Tell people about our upcoming events & products and services

 

Requirements:

  • Interest in the film industry - the company is very focused on filmmakers as the target market so an interest in the industry is crucial

  • Extremely outgoing, friendly and someone who loves to network

  • Able to travel to 1-3  of our London-based events per month

EVENTS & PARTNERSHIP MANAGER

The Opportunity

 

Due to our rapid growth over the last few months we are looking for a junior event & partnership manager to help us plan, prepare for and run our events. Anyone is welcome to apply but this would be a particularly great opportunity for a junior freelance filmmaker looking to find additional work that will help them build up contacts within the industry.

 

You will:

  • Communicate updates to speakers, companies and staff in the lead up to our events

  • Answer attendee questions, over email and social, in the run up and after each event

  • Assist in searching for companies and speakers who would like to get involved in our events

  • Helps coordinate speakers, companies and our own front of house staff during the events to ensure each one runs smoothly

  • Help source new speakers and exhibitors for our events both online and through attending film industry and networking events

 

Requirements:

  • Interest in the film industry - the company is very focused on filmmakers as the target market so an interest in the industry is crucial

  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, interpersonal and organizational skills 

  • Able to prioritize work on multiple projects simultaneously 

  • You have a passion for helping filmmakers

  • Previous experience working on events management would be a bonus

SPEAKER / Seminar leader

We run a variety of events and are always looking for speakers with experience in the film industry. Whether your experience lies in producing, directing, cinematography, acting or any other role we'd love to hear from you. We tend to look for filmmakers with 5-10+ years of experience. 

SPEAKERS:

We hire experienced filmmakers, distributors, marketers, financiers and actors to be interviewed on stage at our filmmaking summit events. You would be asked to come on stage and be interviewed by the host for an hour on a specific topic relating to filmmaking. The fee is usually £150 for this hour and includes our right to film the talk and to reuse that recording. 

SEMINAR LEADERS:

We hire experienced filmmakers, distributors, marketers, financiers and actors to run one of our in person or online seminars. These usually last around 2 hours and focus on one specific topic. The fee depends on your experience, the length of the seminar and several other factors.

event photographer / videographer

We run quite a few live events and are always in need of photographers and videographers. If you have experience in event photography and have your own kit then get in touch! All our events are currently based in London.

VIDEO EDITOR

We're looking for a video editor who can edit short 30-90 second videos from our events for social media and paid advertising use. You can be based anywhere in the world. The fee will depend on your experience, the number and length of videos as well as complexity of the edit,
